What is an electronic signature?
- An electronic signature is a symbol or other data in digital format that is attached to an electronic document and applied or adopted by a person with an intent to sign that document. Most often, electronic signatures take the form of an image of a physical signature.

- Electronically signing documents saves time. If someone sends you a document to sign, you don’t have to print it, sign it, scan it, and then send the document back. You can sign the document electronically in moments and send it back right away. You can even add an electronic signature to a document using your tablet or mobile device.

How do you electronically sign a document?
- Click on the link in the email sent to you by the document sender
- The document will open up, or you may need to sign in first or provide an SMS code sent to your phone
- Once the document is opened, click on “Jump to the first field” button which is in the top right
- Click on the field and fill it out
- Continue the process by clicking “Jump to the next field” until all fields are filled out
- Finally, click “Submit”
